Founded in 1984, the Ohio Coalition for Adult Protective Services (OCAPS) is a statewide coalition. The Ohio Coalition for Adult Protective Services is a statewide coalition that strives to enhance the provision of services to adults at risk of abuse, neglect and exploitation through education, collaboration and advocacy. This is accomplished by offering an annual conference, presentations and training, material dissemination, maintaining an online resource hub, offering a help-line, while contributing to discussions involving elderly victims, aging services and supports, trends in aging, identifying service gaps, addressing seniors' needs and advocating for an improved quality of life for Ohio's seniors.
