🎨 June Featured Artist: Beck Scassellati (RAS the Artist) 📅 On display through 6/30 at GGCC We’re excited to feature Beck Scassellati, Graphic Designer for Westmoreland Cultural Trust, as our June Featured Artist at GGCC. In honor of Pride Month, Beck presents a vibrant and expressive collection that reflects their love of storytelling, identity, and bold visual design. 🖌️Beck is a graphic designer, illustrator, cartoonist, and writer from Greensburg. Though they dabble in all sorts of arts, they specialize in 2D mediums and especially love comics. They chose to brand themself as “RAS the Artist” because drawing and designing are more than just a job or a hobby to them. Making art is their natural state. In 2020, Beck graduated from Seton Hill University with a BFA in graphic design and a BA in English. They often incorporate their interests with fairy tales, musical theatre, literature, history, and humor in their art. Most of all, they love telling visual stories. 🎉 Meet the artist during a free open house on Sunday, June 8 from 10 AM to 2 PM, held alongside the Old Salem Market.
