Staff Spotlight: Lyudmila Bonacci, RN Lyudmila (Mila) Bonacci, RN, loves her job. Mila said nursing provides the ability to make a real difference in people’s lives: witnessing recovery, providing comfort and support. “Every day challenges my critical thinking skills. One thing I can say about nursing is that there is never a boring day at work. At the end of each shift, I know that I have made a difference.” “I always enjoy training new nurses, love seeing nurses that I helped train thriving on their own. We are continually learning from each other.” Mila joined Sitrin in October of 1994. She credits her very supportive husband Michael, along with son Michael and daughter-in-law Maria, their two children Viviana, 2, and “miracle baby” Michael, 6 months, as well as her son Daniel, daughter-in-law Marissa and their children Rhys, 2, and new baby Emerson, 1 month. “I’m so blessed with my family, children and grandchildren,” Mila says.
