🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that 2515 Canal Street, home to CrescentCare MidCity, has been honored with a 2025 Award of Excellence in Historic Preservation by the Louisiana Landmarks Society! 🏆✨ This transformative project turned a mid-century modern, Curtis & Davis-designed office building into a state-of-the-art clinic, pharmacy, and community space for CrescentCare—while preserving its historic charm. Thanks to state and federal historic tax credits, we restored key architectural elements, including the marble brise soleil, salvaged granite tile façade, and terrazzo floors, all while creating a modern, patient-centered facility designed for resilience and continuous operation. Phase one of the Harry Tompson Hygiene Center project is complete! 🎉 Thank you to the Harry Tompson Center for enlisting us on the development of this vital facility, which serves 160-200 guests per day, and now has upgraded showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, and thoughtfully designed spaces to provide comfort and dignity to those in need. GCHP is proud to partner with Practis and Gibbs Construction on the design and construction of this space.
