💔Important Funding Update TVCH, along with many of our partner organizations, has recently experienced significant funding changes. These reductions encompass both state and federal funding, as well as the loss of AmeriCorps members resulting from federal policy changes. 📉What does this mean for TVCH? Our street outreach and mobile shower trailer programs may experience operational shifts as we work through these challenges. These funding changes are directly affecting real people with real needs, disrupting the essential services these programs provide to our most vulnerable neighbors. 🤝It’s not just us. Other organizations within our Continuum of Care (CoC) have also experienced these budget cuts, leading to disruptions in their services and, in some cases, layoffs. The recent AmeriCorps funding cuts have resulted in the loss of over 30,000 AmeriCorps members, who provided essential services across nonprofits and organizations nationwide. 🙏A heartfelt thank you to our supporters!
