From our friends at Clifton Community Council: Tomorrow, Sunday, May 18th, at 12:00 PM, KET - Kentucky Educational Television (public television) will have a 30-minute segment about our Frankfort Avenue. Inside Louisville / Inside Frankfort Avenue and Bourbons Bistro Frankfort Avenue is the main thoroughfare running through Louisville's Clifton and Crescent Hill neighborhoods. In the 1800s, it was the turnpike where farmers brought their goods from Frankfort and Shelbyville into the city. Lined by a working railroad, Frankfort Avenue is now a bustling business district full of locally owned boutiques and restaurants, including Bourbons Bistro - a first-of-its-kind concept celebrating 20 years. Inside Louisville Inside Louisville, hosted by Kelsey Starks, features conversations with Louisville’s biggest newsmakers and personalities, celebrating the people, places and traditions that make the River City such a vibrant and diverse community.
