Discussion (R.E.A.L.) model are four standards-aligned discussion skills: Relate, Excerpt, Ask, Listen (aka "R.E.A.L."). The model equips teachers with the common language, classroom routines, assessment tools, and student-facing materials they need to explicitly teach and measure discussion skills.
