The Archive as Liberation is a new publication organized by artist Aaron Turner, co-curator of the recent The Archive as Liberation exhibition at Silver Eye, that brings together artists and writers exploring archival photographic practices. Available now for in-person purchase at Silver Eye! Featuring work by Andre Bradley, calista lyon, Raymond Thompson Jr., Harrison Walker, and Savannah Wood, alongside writing by Andrew Martinez, Alec Kaus, Aaron Turner, Amelia Wallen, and Wendel White, and a foreword by the book’s editor, Donasia Tillery. The Archive as Liberation’s elegant structure and design come from the keen eye of Elana Schlenker. Published by Light Work. (fb)

A warm thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening night of Fellowship 25 to celebrate work by artists Ramona Jingru Wang, Alana Perino, Brett Davis, Sobia Ahmad, Paolo Morales, and Clare Sheedy. It was especially meaningful for each artist to be in attendance and share a bit about their work and process. On view through August 2, this year’s Fellowship exhibition features six artists whose photographic work explores themes including family, identity, collaboration, and transformation. We invite you to visit the gallery and spend time with the work—how does it illuminate your own relationships to care, loss, and identity? 📍 Gallery hours: Tue–Fri 11–6, Sat 11–5 Free + open to the public. Fellowship 25 is supported directly by Arts, Equity, and Education FundTM and The Leonian Foundation. Image credit: Tara Geyer (fb)
