Monday night training at LCFA Fire School consisted of practicing to abandon the building by following the hose line out of the structure. Firefighters were led hand-in-hand into the building with their masks obscured to a designated area with a hose line and instructed to exit the building following the hose line to the exit. The training was conducted by firefighter Devin Ashba. | Know your way out. | Smooth, Bump Bump, To The Pump | If you’re following your hose line, you will find a coupling; if you come to the long (male) lugs first, it will lead you towards the fire. If you encounter the short (female) lugs first, it will lead you out. (fb)

🪏Today, members of the Lancaster Township Fire Department rolled up their sleeves for a work detail to re-mulch and clean up the landscaping around the station.
