Creating Opportunities for Educational Development

Follow Message Edit

The organization raises funds to provide educational scholarships (college education) to indigent students who are deserving of getting a college education based on their academic and extra curricular performance in high school. However, they cannot afford to attend university and go to college since their families are very poor and their parents cannot afford to send them to school. The students and their families live in poverty. In addition to the inability to go to school, these students are also expected to earn a living for their families, therefore going to college is not an option for them without a scholarship.

COED Scholarship Our Students COED Application About us Background For many students in disadvantaged circumstances education is both a beacon of hope and an unattainable goal. Often painted as the great equalizer and the key to open many doors of opportunities education most notably college and beyond has increasingly become a privileged option for only the few. Our Mission COED was created to provide financial and professional support to deserving yet underprivileged students who could not otherwise afford higher education. This support will come in the form of a fellowship that includes a full scholarship at a college institution followed by an externship or internship in the chosen field and a lifetime access to a mentoring network of academes and professionals.
