Progress Michigan

The longest-tenured executive director was Lonnie Scott, who held the position from 2013 to 2022 and also served as the executive director of ProgressNow, the national parent organization[1]. Currently, Sam Inglot serves as executive director, having previously been the deputy director and communications manager[1].

Advocacy

Progress Michigan engages in issue advocacy campaigns, promoting policies such as abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), enacting stricter gun safety measures, eliminating Medicaid work requirements, supporting "transgender-friendly" drivers' licenses, and making Election Day a paid holiday[1].
