It is the mission of the Center for Educational Innovation (CEI) to guarantee that this right is a reality for children the United States and across the world. We accomplish this mission through: - Developing new, small public schools - Redesigning large public schools into small learning environments - Training teachers and principals in innovative educational practices - Advocating for system-wide adoption of effective school-based reforms and public education policies - Improving educational leadership through mentor and network programs - Researching and implementing best practices - Supporting accountability measured by pupil performance - Providing extensive information services for parents and other members of the educational community.
