The Lehigh & Keystone Valley Model Railroad Club has been made aware of the recent criminal matter involving an individual who was, until recently, a member of our organization. We wish to make it unequivocally clear that the alleged actions of this individual were undertaken entirely in a personal capacity and have no connection whatsoever to the activities, mission, or values of our club. We were shocked and disheartened by the news, as it runs completely counter to the standards we uphold. As part of our standard membership process, all individuals are required to undergo a state background check prior to acceptance. Upon learning of this situation, the individual in question was immediately suspended. In accordance with our bylaws, an emergency meeting is being held to formalize the member’s permanent expulsion and lifetime ban from all club activities. The Lehigh & Keystone Valley Model Railroad Club takes this matter extremely seriously. We remain committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and law-abiding community for all of our members and the public. (fb)
