Pen of Mercy is a non-profit organization whose aim is to give hope to poor individuals, especially women and children when they need it the most. Our mission is to provide financial aid, educational opportunity, and hope to underprivileged people, especially women and their families. We aim to eradicate illiteracy and to empower our beneficiaries to achieve financial independence while enriching their lives and their communities through their personal growth, strength of mind, and peaceful existence. To accomplish this mission, we raise funds through the distribution and sale of art and Islamic calligraphy and by accepting donations.

A handful of artists staff and volunteers with the permission and grace of God Almighty raise funds to help poor families. Support and help from friends and family makes it possible for us to continue the works of Pen of Mercy. The funds are collected through donations by supporters and by the sale of unique art in North America.

Imagine your child or any child weaving a carpet for 8-10 hours a day. These two families (and many others including their children) do that in order to earn enough money to pay for their one room rent, electric bill and food. Pen of Mercy helps these Afghan refugee families in Pakistan by sending them aid each month to help with their rent.
