This Digital Dictatorship doesn't help for healing the traumas' of drones strikes in conflict affected areas of Ethiopia. (Yared Hailemariam) This is a clear sign of the rising of digital dictatorship under the skies of Ethiopia. The authority introduced a drone technology in Ethiopia since the first day of the bloody internal conflicts started, four years ago, and used it as a main war weapons in all conflicts, particularly in Tigray, Amhara and Oromia regions by striking, bombarding and destroying villages, schools, and other civilian infrastructures, and killing dozens and dozens of innocent civilians including children, mothers and senior citizens. In these regions, Ethiopians are still suffering with the damages and losses caused by the drones strike's and its sustained trauma. These yesterday's evening drones show under the sky of Addis Ababa doesn't show me the future of Digital Africa, rather it is clearly demonstrating the continuations of the use of drone technology to suppressing citizen's right, mass surveillance, ruling through fear, controlling and confusion.
