GOALS To advance the mission, Carriage House Children's Center will: 1. Provide high quality, affordable child care and education for children of diverse backgrounds and their families. 2. Support an outstanding staff by providing a working environment that offers competitive compensation, professional development, and continued training. 3. Assess and respond to changing family needs by developing collaborative relationships with family oriented community organizations and agencies. 4. Be governed by a volunteer Board of Directors operating according to the by-laws of the organization, and be managed by an Executive Director, who is responsible for the professional administration. 5. Generate adequate financial resources to sustain the organization. 6. Operate the Wightman School Community Building in order to provide meeting and office facilities for family-oriented community groups in Pittsburgh's East End.
