COHRED supports research and innovation for health, equity and development in low- and middle-income countries. Supporting countries to build systems that focus health research on achieving equity and national development COHRED USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to enable low-and middle-income countries and communities, to strengthen their research and innovation (R&I) systems. Mission: •To promote R&I globally with its major focus on health challenges facing developing countries. •Build research system capacity in the countries of the world for the purpose of fostering improving health, equity and development. •Collaboration with and promotion of the activities of the COHRED, Geneva (https://www.cohred.org/) in furtherance of the foregoing activities in the United States and other countries of the world. •Promotion of charitable, cross-culture, educational, and scientific purposes to enable countries to put in place and use research to foster socio-economic and sustainable development.
