22 foot ceilings adorned with sparkling cornice lights and chandaliers, The Carnegie Center re-creates the aura of early 1900's grandeur. The guest capacity of this beautiful 1906 library is 185 seated, or 350 at a standing reception. The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum is a historic non-profit facility operated by a volunteer board of directors. The mission is to ensure space for on-going community events and raise funds to preserve and maintain the historic nature and designationof the building through special events.

An Elegant Cincinnati Venue A gift to the people of Cincinnati by Andrew Carnegie The Carnegie Center wasbuilt in 1906 to the specifications of the noted architectural firm of Samuel HannafordSons and served as a public library until 1959 when it was sold into private use. In 1993 a group of Columbia Tusculum residents set out to return the building to thecommunity. Their efforts supported by the City of Cincinnati neighborhoodorganizations as well as numerous foundations and individuals have resulted in theopening of The Carnegie Center.
