Inflammatory Breast Cancer is different. IBC is very aggressive with symptoms showing on the outside of the breast. It generally doesn't have a lump and can't be seen on a mammogram or ultrasound. Therefore, it can be easily misdiagnosed or treated incorrectly, compared to more common breast cancers.We educate the general public, the medical community and everyone we can. We achieve this through the internet, social media, events, health fairs, etc. Countless women are fighting their own health care physicians to get a proper diagnosis - this must stop.
