TO SUPPORT ALL PHASES OF THE OILERS ATHLETIC PROGRAM IN ORDER TO ENHANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENT ATHLETES; TO ASSIST IN THE IDENTIFICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAM NEEDS IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENT ATHLETES; TO PROMOTE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY A GREATER AWARENESS OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND NEEDS OF THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM; TO DEVELOP CLOSE TIES BETWEEN PARENTS, STUDENTS AND STAFF MEMEBERS; TO INCREASE PARTICIPATION LEVEL OF PARENTS AND STUDENTS IN THE PROGRAM; TO LEND ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT, WHERE NEEDED, TO THE STAFF AS THEY CARRY OUT VARIOUS ATHLETIC FUNCTIONS; TO CONTINUE TO PROJECT A POSITIVE IMAGE OF MT. PLEASANT PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND TO ASSIST MT. PLEASANT PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN PROVIDING A DESIRABLE PLACE FOR STUDENT ATHLETES AND STAFF MEMBERS.
