Historic Rock Ford is open for tours from April-October. Visit our website for hours and ticketing. The Rock Ford Foundation exists to maintain and further develop Rock Ford Plantation, its grounds, and outbuildings, and to promote knowledge of General Edward Hand's life and times for the cultural and educational benefit of the public.

This remarkable estate offers visitors the opportunity to encounter the outstanding original lateGeorgian style architecture of the Hand Mansion to experience its rooms furnished in exquisite period style while in the Snyder Gallery to explore a nationally recognized collection of Lancaster County decorative arts dating from circa 1760 to 1820 including furniture portraiture long rifles tall case clocks silver and much more.
