DELAWARE CENTER FOR HOMELESS VETERANS INC
Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans, the only veteran-specific nonprofit using the Housing First Model in DE, was founded in 2009 and became a 501(c)3 in 2010 DCHV provides housing solutions and holistic care to homeless Veterans in the state of Delaware. THE MISSION is to provide safe and affordable Permanent Housing plus Supportive Services to homeless Veterans and their families to assist in improving their lives, helping them gain independence, job readiness and employment, developing economic self-sufficiency, and help strengthen the community matching the level of services to Veterans' needs; and stimulate the development of effective services that will address the complex problems facing homeless Veterans. Case Management, Basic Financial Services, Information Resources and Referrals, and Peer Mentoring.

Support DCHV and GiveAVeteranAHome At DCHV we are constantly finding new ways to support and bring awareness to those who have graciously served our country and returned from the front lines only to experience a lack of housing and supportive services. Donations to DCHV have helped us open the doors to a new 51unit permanent plus supportive services housing property that has the ability to house nearly 20 of the veterans experiencing homelessness in the state of Delaware.
