Rain or shine, our Lincoln-King High School students showed up in force at the Michigan State Capitol for Charter Day! 🌧️☀️ They joined nearly 2,000 students, educators, and advocates from across the state to celebrate the impact of charter schools - and they brought the flavor, too! Students from our LKHS Culinary Program proudly represented Cornerstone by preparing and serving three different vegan cookie creations, including a crowd-favorite: Pineapple Upside Down! 🍍🍪 Between bites, our students explored the historic Capitol building, connected with peers from other schools, and heard inspiring words from charter champions.
