Mental health challenges are on the rise and first responders are at greater risk. Every day firefighters put their lives—and mental health—on the line to protect and serve the community. High stress responsibilities and repeated exposure to traumatic events put firefighters at higher risk for PTSD, depression and suicide. . Be a hero to a hero. .
