The Josie Foundation was established in memory of Josephine Marie Herzon who died in July 2005 at the age of 512 due to a rare form of childhood brain cancer. We are dedicated to finding a cure for the specific type of cancer that took Josie and to providing recreation comfort and emotional support to children facing lifethreatening illnesses. We raise funds through community activities and distribute these funds to organizations that further our cause. To date December 2024 we have distributed 109375 in research grants and more than 10000 toys to local childrens hospitals and hospice programs.
