The Kelsey Fund was originally organized by the Lincoln Hose Company No. 4 of the Somerville Fire Department in May 1996. Retired Bridgewater Police Chief Richard Voorhees and friends organized the Ride for Kelsey as a fund raiser for the Kelsey Fund.
