Last week, we spent quality time with our incoming Head of School Troy Baker in Atlanta and Exton! Highlights included getting to meet two of his three children - Dylan and McKenzie (who you can read more about in our interview with Troy in the new Maroon and Grey); dinners and lunches with alumni, friends and past parents, including: Donald Orpanidys '82, Steven Yuh '15 and his girlfriend Stella, Josh Brooks '20 and his mother, Lea, Zena Brown (mother to Yohanan '22), Chris Sakyi '09 and Ed '55 and Mary Ellen Vollrath; and a wonderful tour of Ron Clark Academy from Kirk Brown and Ron Clark! There were also meetings with students, faculty and staff and dinner with our Board of Directors. Troy finished the week by joining with Ms. Scott and our Admissions team to welcome accepted Griffins and their families to Revisit Day! (fb)
