Powell Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) - Powell Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Powell Animal Welfare Society PAWS is a 501c3 allvolunteer fosterbased dog rescue serving the Columbus Ohio area. Our volunteers find loving homes for dogs from overpopulated shelters in Ohio and neighboring states. Each foster home provides shelter and care while PAWS provides food veterinary care including spayneuter all necessary supplies and training support. We are committed to securing permanent nurturing homes within Central Ohio while also providing education about the importance of spayingneutering dog safety preventative veterinary care and behavior issues.
