In Loving Memory of Gurdip Malik Veerji November 16, 1945 – April 4, 2025 💐 With deep love and respect, the Sikh Foundation remembers Gurdip Malik, a kind, generous, and deeply committed member of our community. Veerji was one of our past Trustees, and we are honored to have had his wisdom and leadership guiding the mission of the Sikh Foundation. One of the most powerful examples of his support was during the planning of the first Sikh Float at the Rose Parade. When the cost was estimated at $300,000, many members of the team felt overwhelmed. However Veerji simply said, “Bicky, don’t worry. I’m behind you. With Guru’s support we’ll accomplish this.” Veerji supported many other important projects, like scholarships for students and the Community Voices initiative, which gives young Sikhs a platform to tell their stories. Veerji lived in Chardikala, always positive, always lifting others up. At the Sikh Foundation, we are truly grateful for everything Veerji did. His legacy will live on through every life he touched.
