Family Fun Day postponed due to rain. 🌧️ New date to be revealed soon. (fb)

The Ocean City Police Department is launching a thoughtful new initiative to better support drivers with autism. As part of the program, blue envelopes will be available for individuals with autism to keep in their vehicles. If pulled over, the envelope can be presented to help officers recognize key characteristics and improve communication during the interaction. The idea was brought forward by CAU member and local writer Steffen Klenk. Shoutout to Sgt. Chris Vivarelli and the department for acting toward greater understanding and inclusion! ♾️👏 https://ocnjdaily.com/news/2025/mar/28/ocean-city-police-launch-new-autism-awareness-program/ #AutismAcceptance #InclusiveCommunities #OceanCityNJ #IDD #PeopleWithDisabilities #NeurodiversityMatters (fb)
