BEDF helps to build fundraising and program operations capacity for public schools in Boston. We are shaping our strategies to develop sustainable school fundraising capacity and serve as a critical bridge between school programming and private philanthropic funders. In the last 10 years BEDF has administered over 108M in private funds to increase and sustain educational opportunities in Boston. The portfolio of programs under our fiscal oversight includes an array of onsite school programming out of school time career readiness early education arts sports health services leadership and academic initiatives that benefit students educators school leaders and families.
