Pamir Heritage – Foundation Navruz New Day Navrus is the celebration of the Persian New Year which takes place over three days between March 20 and 22 each year on the spring Womens Day in Tajikistan Tajikistan celebrates International Womens Day and Mothers Day together on 8 March. According to the Tajiks there was once the culture of women veneration and Is Eid ul Fitr a Public Holiday. Eid ul Fitr is a public holiday. It is a day off for the general population and schools and most businesses are closed.
