Our mission is to provide a no-kill animal adoption center and farm sanctuary dedicated to providing quality care, shelter, and respect to abused and neglected animals in need. Heal Animal Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit no-kill animal shelter, adoption center, and sanctuary, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need. Founded in 2006 and based in Youngwood, PA, our shelter and adoption center provides quality medical and daily care, food, and shelter to dogs, cats, and occasionally rabbits while they await their forever homes. We serve the Greater Pittsburgh area, maintaining a live rate of 99%, with the most animals in our care on a daily basis than any other organization in Westmoreland County. In addition to our shelter, we provide a 62-acre farm turned sanctuary as a refuge for abused and neglected farm animals including chickens, ducks, mini-mules, cows, pigs, sheep and goats.
