That's a wrap on this year’s in-school outreach tours. Our students visited fifteen schools across Portland, Beaverton, Milwaukie, Troutdale, Gresham, McMinnville, and Lincoln City, demonstrating just how fun learning music can be. 🎻 Huge thanks to every school that hosted us.

Metropolitan Youth Symphony
Throughout her eight seasons with MYS, violinist Leena has: 🎻played in four ensembles 🎻won the concerto competition 🎻toured abroad to Spain and Portugal 🎻performed alongside members of the Oregon Symphony and Portland Chamber Orchestra 🎻volunteered for Project Prelude Now wrapping up her senior year, Leena plans to study biomedical engineering at Purdue University, keeping her love for the violin alive in Purdue's orchestra.
