CLCC seeks to create a shared, inclusive living experience for individuals with and without developmental disabilities in a farmstead village, by focusing upon the gifts of all in mutually rewarding relationships.The Farmstead Village is the key element of the vision. People with and without a disability will interact by living together, working together and socializing together. When complete, there will be a mixed community of approximately eighty people. About twenty of the Farmstead Village residents would be diagnosed with a developmental disability.
