About the organization

The Horner Park Advisory Council is a volunteerdriven organization dedicated to the enrichment of our communitys parks. We do our best work by engaging with folks like you who care about our neighborhoods and parks. We work with the Chicago Park District to provide advice and assistance on programming activities and events as well as capital improvements at five Chicago parks. We accomplish our mission by engaging in positive activities including sponsoring a Saturday Farmers Market funding a new DogFriendly Area free summer concerts and environmental stewardship.
