The mission of Nuevo Sendero Inc. is to restore and encourage victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse to become self-sufficient and to proceed in life toward a healthier and productive future. The organization fulfills its mission through prevention, awareness, educational workshops, counseling sessions, support groups and conferences. Resources provided directly by Nuevo Sendero are counseling, therapy, group counseling, and case management. Through its case management services, Nuevo Sendero ensures that Hispanic clients have access to resources such as counseling, education, housing assistance, shelters, and legal assistance, among other resources, in a language that they understand.
