Life began when I opened my eyes to see The core objective of The Prostate Net's mission is todevelop and maintain an interactive matrix of educational tools and servicesthat will:1. Educate consumers most at-risk from a diagnosis ofprostate cancer and empower them to establish effective dialogues with theirhealthcare professionals2. Inform the community on other diseases and conditionsof negative impact3. Motivate consumers to make informed choices as tohealthcare and lifestyle management4. Lay the foundation for on-going health care informationdissemination and interaction between the community and healthcareprofessionals 5. Create an interactive network to maximize broad scale,mass communications of actionable health messages The strength of The Prostate Net's mission is aided byorganizations with which we are associated: American Society of ClinicalOncology, Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program, American Association for CancerResearch, Gilda's Club among others. Our overarching objective is to continue toprovide service to an expanding range of consumer, healthcare, government,university and service agencies to aid in reducing racial and socio-economichealth disparity through education, research and community intervention withinthe context of an interactive communications entity.
