The Barceloux-Tibessart Trust was established in 1995 by the will of Leo and Fern Barceloux as their contribution to the improvement of the community where they were long-time residents. The purpose of the Barceloux-Tibessart Trust is the allocation of funds from the Trust to benefit religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational organizations in and around the community of Orland. These organizations must be non-profit, non-political organizations exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. At the end of July each year, the Advisory Committee of the Barceloux-Tibessart Trust evaluates applications and determines the distribution of funds.
