Driving out darkness with light in honor of Deah, Yusor, & Razan, victims of the Chapel Hill shooting The Light House Group Inc was founded in June of 2016 as a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization, as a direct response to the tragic murders that occurred in February of 2015. The organization is governed by five board members and is operated by an executive director. We provide support and advocacy for youth in the local Muslim community and foster education and awareness for the broader national community to address the growing gap that exists today between the detrimental perception of Muslim Americans and the favorable reality of Muslim Americans. We support tax exempt activities and programs in the local community through fiscal sponsorships and provide programming that supports Muslim youth in the Triangle area of North Carolina
