Serving the Lee County community by providing educational, crisis, health and familial support. THE MISSION OF THE UNITED WAY OF LEE COUNTY, INC. IS TO INCREASE THE ORGANIZED CAPACITY OF PEOPLE TO CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER. ONE OF THE WAYS THAT WE DO THIS IN OUR COMMUNITY IS BY GENERATING AND APPLYING THE NECESSARY RECOURSES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY, RECOGNIZING THAT MEETING BASIC HUMAN NEEDS SHOULD BE THE OVERRIDING CONSIDERATION. Many children youth and adults lack the support they need to strengthen their literacy stay on track in school and find a career. United Way provides innovative solutions to help kids and adults succeed in school and in life. In our community individuals and families are facing challenges and obstacles that prevent a good quality of life.
