🌟We are proud to recognize Adrian, a senior at South Shore International College Prep, as the recipient of the Caleb Cares Award this Spring session—an honor given to a teen who exemplifies compassion, kindness, and respect in all they do. 🌟 Since joining After School Matters in Summer 2022, Adrian has been a dedicated participant, shining in programs like HHW Vocal Arts, Dance For Our Lives, and most notably, After School Matters - Les Enfants Dance. Her talent and dedication have led her to perform at special ASM events, including the Sneaker Ball, the 2023 Gala, and even live features on Fox News. Beyond her talents, Adrian is known for her positivity and generosity. She consistently shows up with a smile, offers help to staff, and lifts up those around her. Her instructor, Shakeena President-Beckford, shares, "I believe Adrian has a positive impact on the teens and the adults in the building. She makes everyone around her feel important and special. She is a very humble being. A true gem...After all she's been through in her personal life, she still continues to show up to work, go to school, keep her grades up, and have a pleasant attitude."
