CANS FORCRITTERS Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids accepts Iowa redeemable cans and plastic bottles through our Cans for Critters program. These inkind donations assist CCCR in funding our veterinary expenses.

Beautiful Hudson came to Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids this past November with a severe fracture of the base of his tail. This is a very significant injury, as any tail fracture is actually a fracture of the spine. The closer to the very base of the tail, the more severe the injury, increasing complications from surgery.

Louise…aka Lou will be returning to UW Madison Oncology Service in the next several weeks for her 3 month recheck. This gorgeous girl from our friends at A Purposeful Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, underwent surgery for a cutaneous melanoma in December. The procedure was successful and had clean but narrow margins on her right hind lower limb.
