♦ To serve as an Orthodox Sephardic Jewish congregation, following all dictates of the Written and Oral Torah, the Shulhan Aruch, and leading halachic authorities. ♦ To perpetuate the religious values and traditions of the ancient Jewish community of Allepo, Syria (Aram Soba), as brought to these shores by Chief Rabbi Jacob S. Kassin A"H, and Hacham Baruch Ben Haim A"H. ♦ To provide a vibrant framework for family and communal life for Sephardic Jews. ♦ To provide a welcoming home for, and inspiration to, all community members who wish to join, regardless of their religious background or level of observance.
