To sponsor, develop and promote services and programs which are charitable, scientific or educational and which address the physical and mental needs of the community, provided however, that the corporation shall not engage in the practive of medicine, and shall operate exclusively for the benefit of Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and other not for profit hospitals located in New England affiliated through common control by this corporation, and their affiliated organizations.
