Daytime care for adults with cognitive and/or physical challenges. Life-enriching activities. To Provide a Safe, Social, Stimulating Environment for Adults in Need of Daytime Care. Riverwalk Adult Day Services (Riverwalk) was founded in 1983 as Ecumenical Adult Day Care of Naperville and changed the name in 2018 to better align with the participant population & organizational charter. Riverwalk was established to provide care for seniors who are navigating some type of cognitive decline such as dementia, Parkinsons, stroke, etc., and who cannot be left home alone and respite for their caregivers. In September 2023 Riverwalk launched a Recreational Program for Special Needs adults from 18-55 operating out of Grace United Methodist Church.
