PSSST is an artist-run nonprofit space founded on the principle of artists supporting artists. Work and worth are oriented towards ideas, mindful engagement, and fellowship. Through exhibitions, events, residencies and awards, PSSST invests in artists who challenge discrete forms and disciplines. We actively work with underrepresented artists—women, people of color, LGBTQ-identified, emerging and mid-career—who privilege experimentation and critical thinking. PSSST invites its public to participate in a slowing down, a deeper contemplation, and a more invested looking and listening.
