The program teaches youth in our community the experience of ocean swimming and its hazards while exposing them to an environment that will teach them courtesy respect discipline sound morals and good sportsmanship. Along with the Junior Guard Program the Huntington Beach Fire Department Marine Safety Division offers multiple other opportunities for youth education.
