International Friends of The London Library (IFLL) International Friends of The London Library For over 40 years the International Friends of The London Library has been a vital supporter of The London Library the worlds largest independent lending library since 1841 to help it continue as a haven of creativity and inspiration for writers readers and thinkers. Through the International Friends of The London Library IFLL donors from across North America are essential to helping The London Library develop its unrivalled collection of around one million volumes on open access shelves beautiful reading spaces outstanding online resources as well as its archive writers support and learning programs. Our International Friends enjoy a close connection to The London Library and its people through invitations to special literary events in the US and UK inside track information and communication.
