The Cultural Arts Center is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect the arts to our communities in the Wiregrass. Established in May of 2002 and housed in the old Southside Elementary School the CAC provides accessibility for talented artists to gather and perform and continues to find innovative ways to expose children and seniors to the arts.

So we have had a lot of questions about the 1st/2nd grade class this fall called "Art on Wood". Below are the projects we will be working on: a 3 legged stool with several top designs to choose from the students paint, The art box or tool box, they will assemble and paint, the 3D Fish sculpture with wooden fish they paint and decorate along with creating the ocean floor, the Haunted House they build and paint and light up, and last but not least the treasure box that you can bejewel or tile or do a number of things with to hide secrets in your room. If your child would be interested in this class, register now.
